Salzburg Easter Festival 2023

Andris Nelsons and the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig are this year’s Orchestra in Residence for the Salzburg Easter Festival.

They will present the following programmes:
Richard Wagners ‘Tannhäuser’ (1, 5 and 9 April)
Sofia Asgatowna Gubaidulinas ‘Der Zorn Gottes’ and Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No.7 (2 and 8 April)
Johannes Brahms: A German Requiem (3 and 7 April)
Johann Sebastian Bachs Suite for Orchestra No.3, Escaich’s Cello concerto and Robert Schumann’s Symphony No.2 (4 and 10 April)
