Marc Albrecht and Daniel Müller-Schott to premiere George Alexander Albrecht´s Cello Concerto in Weimar

Marc Albrecht will conduct the Staatskapelle Weimar today to premiere the Cello Concerto by his father, George Alexander Albrecht. He will be joined by another KD SCHMID artist, Daniel Müller-Schott, to whom the work is dedicated, will be the soloist.

George Alexander Albrecht, honorary conductor of the Staatskapelle Weimar, where he was General Music Director between 1996 and 2002, passed away in December 2021. The concerts will take place on 08 and 09 January 2023 at 19:30 at the Weimarhalle.
