Kazuki Yamada and Seong-Jin Cho to tour Japan

Following their spectacular concert together with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) at the start of June, Kazuki Yamada and Seong-Jin Cho are set to embark on an exciting tour in Japan.

Yamada returns to Japan with the CBSO, following two tours there together in previous years, but this time as their Chief Conductor and Artistic Advisor. He will lead the orchestra through repertoire including works by Elgar, Brahms, and Rachmaninov.

Seong-Jin Cho will join Kazuki Yamada and the orchestra as soloist for three performances, performing Frédéric Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Minor. Seong-Jin Cho will perform on 28 June at Bunkyo Civic Hall, 29 June at Suntory Hall and on 1 July in Nagoya. Daishin Kashimoto also joins Yamada and the orchestra on the road with the Brahms Violin Concerto.
