Kazuki Yamada and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra

Tomorrow, Thursday April27, Kazuki Yamada will conduct his first official concert as Chief Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

Yamada says 'I am so very happy and honoured to start my work as Chief Conductor with this concert. The CBSO is my dream orchestra and I never thought I would be entrusted with this important role. I still can’t believe it'.

The programme for this incredibly special concert includes Panufnik's Sinfonia Sacra and Orff's Carmina Burana.
