John Storgårds’s acclaimed series of Shostakovich symphonies continues

Today marks the latest release in the critically acclaimed series of Shostakovich symphonies by John Storgårds with the BBC Philharmonic.

The recording, released on Chandos, features Symphony No. 13 'Babi Yar', performed with bass-baritone Albert Dohmen and the Estonian National Male Choir, along with Arvo Pärt's 'De profundis', adapted for male voices and chamber orchestra.

The "Shostakovich/Pärt: Symphony No.13/De profundis" is available on CD and online on all major streaming platforms.
