KD SCHMID welcomes Violinist Guido Sant’Anna to the roster for General Management

KD SCHMID is thrilled to announce that violinist Guido Sant’Anna has joined the roster for general management, following his time on the KD SCHMID Fellowship Scheme.

We met Guido for the first time in 2023 and have greatly enjoyed supporting him on his remarkable journey, and look forward to a bright future together." Guido Sant’Anna has rapidly established himself as a rising star in the international music scene. After winning first prize at the International Fritz Kreisler Competition in Vienna in 2022, he confirmed this recognition with his European debut at the opening concert of the Rheingau Music Festival with hr-Sinfonieorchester and Alain Altinoglu. The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung described his performance as showing “astonishing maturity and depth.” 

His recent US recital debut at The Conrad received widespread acclaim, with the Times of San Diego commenting: "Absolutely nothing about his recital hinted at any limits to Sant’Anna’s future potential. In other words: he commands your attention." 

Among his many accomplishments are the Audience and Chamber Music Prizes at the Yehudi Menuhin International Competition in Geneva, the LOTTO-Förderpreis awarded by the Rheingau Music Festival in 2024 and performances at the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie and the Konzerthaus Berlin in the 24/25 season. Imminent collaborations with renowned ensembles including the Wiener Symphoniker, Helsinki Philharmonic and the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra are on his schedule.
