Fazıl Say on tour with Patricia Kopatchinskaja

Since 14 March, Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Fazıl Say have been touring across Europe together. Following two highly successful concerts in Istanbul and Oslo, they will perform at the Kammermusiksaal of the Philharmonie Berlin on 18 March before continuing to Vienna (Konzerthaus) and concluding the tour with a concert at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels.

The programme features Karol Szymanowski’s "Mythen" op. 30 for violin and piano and Beethoven’s "Kreutzersonate" op. 47. The programme is complemented by two original compositions of Kopatchinskaja and Say themselves: the longtime chamber music partners present Kopatchinskaja’s "UniSolo" for violin and piano and Say’s "Lost Screams Sonata" op. 119. After the world premieres in Istanbul at the start of the tour, these works will now receive their German premieres in Berlin.

Following their concert at the Philharmonie Berlin, Kopatchinskaja and Say will continue their tour in Vienna (Konzerthaus) before concluding with a performance at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels as part of the BozarKlara Festival.
