Dima Slobodeniouk debut with the Tonhalle-Orchestra Zürich

Dima Slobodeniouk emphasises the importance of trust between conductor and orchestra as he makes his long-awaited debut with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, a performance originally scheduled for 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic.

The programme for the upcoming concerts on 17 and 18 May is a mixture of a classic hit and a musical discovery. Berlioz's 'Symphonie fantastique', composed when he was only 26, features innovative sonic mixtures, while Joseph Jongen's 'Symphonie concertante', composed in 1926, experiments with the organ, played by Iveta Apkalna, as a second orchestra.

This unique combination promises an evening of musical exploration and excellence in Zurich's Grosse Halle. For more information, please visit the orchestra's website.
