Fabien Gabel debuts at the Opéra national de Paris

KD SCHMID is delighted to share Fabien Gabel's extremely successful debut at the Opéra national de Paris last week! His interpretation of the Calixto Bieito production of Bizet’s ‘Carmen’ has earned a clutch of excellent reviews: "Very fluid conducting, which catches fire in the third act, with a fine balance between tragedy and the lightness of comic opera: the conductor has succeeded in his Carmen" (Concerto.net)

The tremendous cast includes Gaëlle Arquez, Michael Spyres, Golda Schultz, and Lucas Meachem.

Performances run until 25 February 2023 with performances on 24, 27 and 30 November, 3 December, 28 and 31 January as well as 3, 9, 12, 15, 22 and 25 February.
