Debut in Pittsburgh

Pianist Martin Helmchen will make his long-awaited debut with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Manfred Honeck on Friday, 2 December and Sunday, 4 December 2022.

Entitled "Mozart's Great Mass", the programme will feature Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Great Mass in C minor alongside Robert Schumann's Piano Concerto. Martin Helmchen, who stands out for his expressiveness and deep musical interpretation of the concerts, has already taken his place among the great pianists of his generation with his highly virtuosic yet unpretentious style.
