David Afkham conducts the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Minnesota Orchestra

David Afkham is back in North America, where he made his debut with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra last week in a program of Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra and Brahms' Violin Concerto with Veronka Eberle as soloist. Further details can be found here.

This week David Afkham returns to the Minnesota Orchestra for concerts on 30, 31 May and 1 June. He will open the program with Christian Tetzlaff as soloist, once again in the Brahms Violin Concerto. David will then return to the stage to conduct Dutilleux's Cinq Métaboles and Bartok's Suite from The Miraculous Mandarin.
