On Tuesday, June 25, German conductor Clemens Schuldt will make his debut at the Staatstheater Kassel.
The program features two lesser-known yet outstanding works by Polish composers, which are deserving of a place on the international concert stage. Under Schuldt's direction, the orchestra will perform Bacewicz's Overture for Symphony Orchestra, composed in 1943 and one of the most virtuosic orchestral works of that time. Also on the program is Lutoslawski's Concerto for Orchestra (1950), a masterpiece of 20th-century music in which he skillfully intertwines traditional and folkloristic elements with his own musical language.
The concert will take place at 8:00pm at Hessisches Staatstheater Kassel, and you can purchase tickets here.
