On May 14th, pianist Bruce Liu will kick off his solo recital tour across the US. The young musician will travel across North America over the next three weeks, presenting his solo concert program in eight cities.
The tour begins in his hometown of Montreal, Canada. Afterwards, Liu will travel to the West Coast, where he will perform in Santa Barbara and San Francisco. This will be followed by concerts in Vancouver and Seattle, before the final leg of the tour includes performances in Denver, Stanford, San Diego, and Chicago.
The inspiring concert program includes works such as Haydn's Piano Sonata in B Minor, Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat Minor, Op. 35, Kapustin's Variations Op. 41, selections by Rameau, and Prokofiev's Piano Sonata No. 7 in B-flat Major, Op. 83.
Liu will also perform three concerts in Denver with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Peter Oundjian, taking place on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of May. Look forward to Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3.
