ARTE documentary about Fanny Hensel (born Mendelssohn) with Lauma Skride

Today, Sunday March 12, at 11:15 pm the documentary "Die geniale Schwester. Fanny Hensel geb. Mendelssohn" about the life and work of the female composer Fanny Hensel, who is considered one of the greatest of the 19th century, but was always in the shadow of her famous brother, can be seen on ARTE.

It also features KD SCHMID artist Lauma Skride, who has already recorded Fanny Hensel's piano cycle The Year for SONY CLASSICAL and has dedicated a large part of her musical output to the works of female composers.
