KD SCHMID expands its international operations within the North American market with the appointment of Ann SunHyung Kim

Ann SunHyung Kim joins the KD SCHMID team as a Director and establishes presence for the company from New York, enhancing KD SCHMID’s reach within the North American market.

Ann SunHyung Kim joins KD SCHMID from Primo Artists in New York, where she worked for many acclaimed artists during her seven-year tenure.

KD SCHMID is a recognised market leader in touring the major US orchestras throughout Europe, representing institutions such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra and New York Philharmonic amongst others, with a renowned long-standing history of excellence in this field. The KD SCHMID artist management department works directly and regularly with the major US orchestras and opera houses for our artists. The appointment of Ann SunHyung Kim will allow KD SCHMID to grow closer to new and existing local partners in the market. Ann SunHyung Kim will represent selected artists from the KD SCHMID roster directly within the territory, whilst also partnering with colleagues in Hannover, Berlin, Hamburg, and London to enhance the company’s activities within the North American market.

Ann SunHyung Kim holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook in violin performance. In 2015, she joined Primo Artists and went on to hold the title of Vice President, Artist Manager. Ann is also passionate about music education and has been a principal teaching artist for various outreach programs targeting Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade students in the greater New York area. Ann joined KD SCHMID in January 2023, expanding the company’s international operations from New York.
