Alexandra Dariescu debuts with the Copenhagen Philharmonic

Following her triumphant return to the Houston Symphony with Fabien Gabel, Alexandra Dariescu approaches the end to the 2023/2024 season by making her debut with the Copenhagen Philharmonic, under the baton of Thomas Guggeis.

The concert, part of the SommerKlassisk series at the world famous Tivoli Gardens, takes place on Thursday 6 June at the Tivoli Concert Hall. For her anticipated Copenhagen debut, Dariescu will perform Tchaikovsky's mighty Piano Concerto No.1.

Dariescu performs the concerto once more as part of the 50th anniversary celebratory concert of the Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra on 23 June, finishing off the season with the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Mainz, performing Grieg on 12 and 13 July under the baton of Chief Conductor Hermann Bäumer.
