Alain Altinoglu opens the new season of La Monnaie De Munt in Brussels

Yesterday evening, September 25, Alain Altinoglu conducted the season opening of Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie.

The programme opened with the rarely performed 'Morceau symphonique' from César Franck's Rédemption, followed by Richard Strauss' Vier letzte Lieder with Sally Matthews and Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks op.28.

Another highlight was the world premiere of Belgian composer Harold Noben's 'Beyond', a concerto for orchestra written especially for the soloists of the Orchestre symphonique de la Monnaie.
