„…his trumpet playing has to be heard to be believed…“

Stuff.co.nz, John Button, 11.10.2019

„Håkan Hardenberger […] reached unerringly into the stratosphere on phrase after arching phrase with liquid legatos, chattering double- and triple-tongued staccatos punctuated by sforzandos and silences that gave gorgeous harmonic reverberations around the hall.“

The Berkshire Eagle, Carolyn and Eli Newberger, 09.07.2019

„There can be no questioning trumpeter Håkan Hardenberger’s extraordinary mastery: his big, unforced sound, mellifluous legato, athletic virtuosity and utterly controlled high notes.“

The Arts Desk, Bernard Hughes, 14.05.2019

„Håkan Hardenberger was the soloist in Aerial, and his virtuosity was beyond impressive—he made what few trumpeters can do sound almost routine. And it was all in service to the music, which itself needs such greatness to realize its most beautiful moments.“

New York Classical Review, George Grella, 20.11.2018

„Hardenberger’s molten trumpet tone lent warmth and also supplied bluesy accents.“

The Telegraph, John Allison, 04.11.2017
