Dima Slobodeniouk's premiere with the London Philharmonic Orchestra

26.11.2016

It is a programme influenced by Russian music history that Dima Slobodeniouk has chosen for his debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra tonight in Brighton. Glinka's Waltz Fantasy and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 are framing a cello concerto by Sir William Walton, a piece that was commissioned by and dedicated to the Russian cellist Gregor Piatigorsky in 1956. The concert will be repeated in Eastbourne on 27th November.
