Cornelius Meister’s surprise performances with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin

21.11.2017

Cornelius Meister will be stepping in for indisposed Robin Ticciati, conducting two concerts on November 24th and 25th with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin at the Philharmonie Berlin.
The programme will include Gustav Mahler’s Third Symphony. Especially experienced in conducting Mahler, Cornelius Meister has already performed his symphonies at Salzburger Festspiele (1st and 4th Symphony), Enescu-Festival Bucharest (8th Symphony), Konzerthaus Vienna (5th and 9th Symphony) as well as at Suntory Hall Tokyo (6th Symphony).
In addition to the unexpected performances in Berlin he will be conducting Mahler’s Third Symphony in December in Japan (with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra) as well as for his farewell concert as Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien.
